CSSC - Civil Service Sports Council

Civil Service Sailing Assn - Governing Sports Body for sailing within CSSC membership

SCSSC - Scottish Civil Service Sailing Club - set up to provide sailing & improve skills amongst members.

Other related bodies:

NEL SC - National Engineering Laboratory Sailing Club

NEPTUNE SC - Neptune Sailing Club, Faslane

5KSC - Five Kingdoms Sailing Club (NW Divn of the CSSA based in Liverpool)

Scottish Civil Service Sailing Club

 SCSCC Aims:

i) Encourage close links with NEL SC and Neptune SC with the view to members of their clubs being actively involved with the SCSSC.

ii) To maintain the provision of cruising, primarily in Scotland, for CSSC members, and enhance their sailing skills.

iii) To expand the target area for membership through the CSSA.

iv) Having established a membership base and facilities in Scotland to strengthen links with and obtain financial support through the CSSA.

v) To establish a nucleus capable of managing any yacht, and its sailing programme.

vi) Using the financial strength of the CSSC/CSSA to support a yacht based in Scotland.

vii) Ultimately to establish a Scottish division of the CSSA centred around a yacht based in Scotland.
